Frequently asked questions

Getting started: create a free account, tell Eat In AI your dietary preferences and allergies, then type what's in your kitchen. You'll have a full recipe in seconds.

Recipe Generator: enter ingredients, time available and how many people you're feeding. Rough amounts are fine. You can ask for changes in plain language and the recipe is rewritten.

Fridge Scanner: take one photo and the vision AI lists what it can see. It's editable on purpose — correct anything it misreads. Image recognition cannot tell you whether food is fresh or safe to eat.

Meal Planner: builds a 7-day plan around your preferences and reuses ingredients across days. Included with Chef, Master Chef and Gourmet Chef.

Shopping Lists: generated from recipes and meal plans, with duplicate ingredients merged and items grouped for the shop.

Saved Recipes: everything you save is kept in your private cookbook, openable in Cooking Mode later.

Cooking Mode: reads steps aloud and takes voice commands so you can cook hands-free.

Food Fitness: logs calories, protein, carbs, fat and fibre from what you cook. Figures are AI estimates, not medical advice.

Allergies and dietary preferences: saved to your profile and applied to every generation, then validated programmatically before you see the result. Serious allergy sufferers should still check packaging and cross-contamination.

Plans and billing: free tier plus Chef (€2.99/month), Master Chef (€4.99/month) and Gourmet Chef (€9.99/month), each with a 7-day free trial. Payments are handled by Stripe; cancelling stops billing immediately and keeps your account and data.

Privacy: your recipes, allergies and preferences are private to your account. See the privacy policy for what's stored and why.

AI limitations: Eat In AI can be wrong. Treat recipes and nutrition numbers as well-informed suggestions and apply normal kitchen judgement.
